The bid sheet: how hungry you are for the work (lean, fair or fat), the unit prices with their margins, your price against the rivals and your chance to win.
01Bid day

Price it. Win it. Live with it.

Bond limits, crews, mountains and rivals all push on your number. Bid too low and you will feel it in the spring.

A pole change on a residential street in summer: bucket trucks, crew, cones. The same street in winter, under snow. SummerWinter
02Real job sites

Same street. Six months on.

Zoom from the map down to the crew. Every truck, pole and cone is driven by the sim. Drag to change the season.

A wood H-frame structure on a transmission job, mid-pull: stringing blocks hung under the insulator strings with the pulling line and new conductors running through them, a crew pickup on the right-of-way road below.
A helicopter holding a line at a lattice tower at dusk, conifers along the right of way.
03Transmission

Then the big lines.

Pulling lines, reel trailers, tensioners, and helicopters where the trucks cannot go. From the street to 500 kV.

A storm callout at night: rain, a broken pole down across a yard, a bucket truck under its work lights.
04Storm season

When it storms, you go.

Night callouts, long hauls and remote camps. Rest your crews and they come back sharp.

05Pick where you open

Five real places. One continent.

Start in British Columbia, Alberta, California or Texas. Every line on the map is a real line. Pick one to see where you would start.

A remote work camp in the evening, cut away: bunk rooms, a mess hall and a rec room, crew trucks parked outside.
06Out on the long jobs

Bunks, hot meals, a long drive in.

Remote work means camps. Feed the crews well and let them rest, and they show up ready for the next stretch of line.

The head office, floor by floor: four floors laid side by side, desks and meeting rooms full of staff, a slab poured for the next floor.
07Grow

Two trucks to a continental company.

Thirteen levels. Trailer to head office, one yard to many. Hand jobs to people you hired and set the policies they follow. Buy out the rivals when you can afford it.
